The Seven Stars offers freshly cooked food of exceptional quality. We make everything in-house including bread, sausages, terrines, ice cream, sorbets, jams, chutneys, pickles and home-cured pork and salmon.   

We only use free-range meat and eggs.

 

The menu takes advantage of the West Country’s fine seasonal produce, much of which is sourced very locally from farms in Wiltshire and Somerset. For more information about our suppliers, visit our Suppliers page.

A children’s menu is also available which includes home cooked farmhouse Wiltshire ham, free-range eggs and hand-cut chips and homemade free-range chicken goujons.

 

 

 

Typical seasonal dishes might include: homemade black pudding with a pear compote and Somerset cider reduction £6.50;  crispy potato and sage gnocchi with roast butternut squash, wild mushrooms and sage butter £11.50 and chocolate and Devilfish ale steamed sponge pudding with plum compote and homemade cinnamon ice cream £5.50.

The menu changes frequently, with around four   starters, main courses and desserts plus a daily specials board. Vegetarians are well catered for, with a choice of inventive dishes. For more examples, view our sample Menus

 

 

We bake a range of delicious breads   daily using  Shipton Mill

organic flour.
